ASUSF Senate Happenings
ASUSF Senate in collaboration with the Student Advocacy department of
Student Leadership and Engagement present, the Spark:Town Hall “Save
the Cal Grant Day”! This
event will take place on March 6th in the UC
4th Floor Lounge from 11:45 to 12:45 pm. There will be a panel
of knowledgeable students, faculty, and staff discussing the threat to cal grants.
March 7th is the Day of Action where USF students will be going on
a bus, sponsored by ASUSF Senate, up to Sacramento for a day full of
advocating in solidarity with other nonprofit independent institutions
from all over the state.
The bus will leave War Memorial Gym at 6:30 am
to arrive in Sacramento at 8:30 am. The bus will leave Sacramento at
6:30 pm and arrive back at USF at 8:30 pm. Food will be provided
throughout the day and the attire is business casual. Letters from the
Director of Academic and Enrollment Services, Norman Caito, can be given
to teachers so they know what you are doing and why you may be missing
class!! We are looking for students to join us on the bus!! If you want
